What is actually live today?
1 lifetime free simple scan in the standard lane, usually a photo or an A4/Letter PDF of about 1–5 pages, subject to the file check. Free has no monthly credits, and the free scan needs no credit balance. On that score, edit, transpose, play, choose recognition results, rename the title and share for free. Jianpu and Editable score file exports are free. PDF, MusicXML, MIDI, SVG, PNG, WAV and MP3 exports, another score, complex recognition, large-file processing and part extraction require a US$2.99 One Score Pass or Starter from US$7.99/month. US$2.99 once buys 10 processing credits for one PDF or image document and any parts extracted from it by the service. Standard and large-file processing are included, without an extra lane fee. No automatic renewal or expiry; file preflight and your existing storage allowance still apply. Starter costs US$7.99 per month and includes 50 credits each month for new scores in standard or large-file processing. At default costs, that covers up to 50 simple or 10 complex recognition jobs before exports and other work. Monthly credits reset by UTC calendar month and do not roll over. Alternatively US$49/year with the same monthly allowance; 250 MB storage, complex recognition, paid exports and part extraction included.
Do international and mainland-China users follow the same path?
Not exactly. International customers can pay online directly, while mainland-China customers can also use activation-code distribution and redeem inside the app.
What do I receive after payment?
After payment is confirmed, the selected access is linked to the account you used before payment. One-time purchases do not renew automatically; subscriptions renew at the chosen interval until canceled. No activation code is needed for an online purchase.
Uploads and results
What input format is supported right now?
Upload PDF, PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP or TIFF scores. The lifetime free scan is simple mode in standard processing; One Score Pass and Starter also cover large-file processing. File and storage limits apply. MusicXML/MXL, MIDI, structured Jianpu and Editable score file imports follow the current access rules; audio transcription remains experimental. Standard processing usually fits one score photo or an A4/Letter PDF of about 1–5 pages; large-file processing usually fits about 6–24 pages. A4/Letter PDFs of about 25 pages or more may exceed the processing limit. Files over 20 MiB, images over 32 MP, or PDF pages beyond the preflight pixel limit cannot be accepted. Page counts are approximate: actual acceptance and processing depend on file size, page layout and preflight. Split PDFs into files of about 24 pages or fewer, compress oversized files or images, or import MusicXML. Rejected files incur no payment or credit charges.
Why is recognition marked as a candidate?
OMR can misread pitch, duration, voices, or measure structure. The free result therefore stays a human-review candidate with confidence and warning details instead of pretending to be publication-ready notation.
What should I do if upload or download fails?
Keep the file name, job time, and an error screenshot, then submit the support form. That gives support a faster path to the affected job.
Support and accounts
How should I handle payment or activation-code issues?
Use the on-site support form first. Payment issues route to the payment category, activation issues route to the activation category, and the support team can follow the request by reference code.
What happens after I submit the support form?
After a successful submission, save the request reference shown on the page. A confirmation is sent to your contact email. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, then contact support with the request reference and your contact email.
Where can I compare staff and Jianpu conversion paths?
Open the numbered notation converter, then choose staff to Jianpu or Jianpu to staff notation. Both paths keep the result in an editable structured score project.
